The Mathematics Scheme in use at Hereward is called 'White Rose Maths' which is fully linked to the National Curriculum programmes of study.

 

Please download below a 'Parents' Calculation Handbook' which shows you exactly how we teach (and the children learn) written methods of calculation for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Just print it out and fold it together to make a great book to help you support your children at home, especially when they are doing homework.

 

Also, look for lots more information and resources below to help support your child's learning in Mathematics.

  • Times Table Rockstars Log-in to access lots of fun times table games. All children should have their log-in details inside their 'Homework Books'. If not, please contact your child's class teacher.
