On Friday 2nd November, children at school spent a poignant morning learning all about Remembrance. The children were involved in a range of activities such as: silhouette art, role play and making poppy biscuits to name a few. This gave them a greater understanding of how important it is to remember all the dedicated and courageous service men and women who fought for their country.
Mr Helm expressed: ‘It has been a really valuable opportunity for children to enjoy learning about our country’s history.’
Year 6 pupil Kornelija said: ‘We have had a fun morning learning about the past. I really enjoyed finding out about the Christmas Truce.’
