YEAR 5 SHOW OFF THEIR TALENTS AND WORK

Year 5 parents were in for a treat with an exciting assembly presented to them by their children. From listening to stories and facts about 'World War 2', what is was like to be an Anglo-Saxon, intense poetry from the 'Highway Man' poem and becoming millionaires in the 'Who wants to be a millionaire?' maths game the parents were most certainly entertained.

A few parents took part in a Science experiment linked to forensic science skills, which caused a giggle or two.

The Year 5 children displayed a range of work linked to all areas of the curriculum and the assembly was well supported and enjoyed. To bring the show to a close, they concluded the assembly on a happy note singing 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams.

Well done to all the Year 5's for a lovely assembly!
