READING COMES ALIVE ON WORLD BOOK DAY

Hereward Primary School in Loughton celebrated World Book Day recently. It was a day enjoyed by everyone in the school with pupils and staff alike coming in dressed as their favourite book characters.

English Co-ordinator Mrs Caroline Hilton said: "There was such an exciting buzz throughout the school on the day and the costumes worn were wonderful. Enjoying reading is such an important part of our school ethos and it was fantastic to see the magnificent characters represented from a range of books."
