JEANS FOR GENES DAY RAISES MONEY FOR A GOOD CAUSE

The children and staff at Hereward Primary School held a special charity day recently which raised over £400 for children with genetic disorders.

The fundraising effort was part of the national 'Jeans for Genes' day.

Everyone was encouraged to wear denim and bring in a donation to support this worthy cause.

Charities Co-ordinator, Mrs Janice Whitehead, said, "Supporting Jeans for Genes day is a real tradition at the school and we are delighted how generous our parents, carers and pupils have been."
