"FOR NEVER WAS A STORY OF MORE WOE THAN THIS OF JULIET AND HER ROMEO"

As part of their study of Romeo and Juliet, Year 6 enjoyed a fascinating trip to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Here, they were given a personal tour of the site and were even able to perform some of Shakespeare's famous lines on the stage. After this, groups took part in a fantastic workshop where children were able to put their acting skills to the test under the guidance of an expert.

Miss Chapman said, "This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to gain a greater understanding of one of our greatest playwrights! Seeing the children's first reaction as we entered the Globe was areal highlight if the day."
