The pupils in Year 5 enjoyed their recent trip to Cuffley Camp. Embracing the mud, wind and rain, the children all got 'stuck in' and had a wonderful day practising their team-building skills by solving a series of problems. These included climbing through a giant spider web and manoeuvring plank skis as a group. The pupils also had the opportunity to build giant shelters made out of forest materials.
As well, the Year 5 children had their orienteering skills put to the test as they had to venture around the Cuffley Camp grounds to find a number of hidden clues.
Year 5 teacher Miss Chapman said, "It was such a delight to see all of the children supporting and encouraging each other in the team-building activities. All the pupils were such stars, proving to be upbeat, positive and enthusiastic throughout the whole day."
