The children and staff at Hereward got their charity caps on to help support a worthwhile cause last week.
Everyone came to school in their favourite hats on Friday 4th May and made donations to the charity, CLIC-Sargent.
The leading cancer charity for children and young people, CLIC-Sargent provides clinical, practical, financial and emotional support for patients and their families after diagnosis.
Headteacher Matt Woolard said: “Last year one of our teachers, Mrs Jacky Anderson, sadly passed away due to cancer. We are proud to help raise money to help support families at incredibly difficult times when a loved one is suffering from a serious illness.”
